WHY SHOULD YOU USE BOOM PUMP? Melbourne, Victoria
Concrete Boom Pumps are much larger trucks than Line Pumps that carry a series of extendable hydraulic booms or arms that unpack on site and can reach from 20 Mts up to a maximum of 50 Mts in some cases.
Boom pumps require a much larger footprint than line pumps during set-up and must set up their side stabiliser legs prior to any operation.
Most Boom Pumps will need around 6.0 Mts in width to set up safely on site before the hydraulic arms can be unpacked and extended up and out for use.
They are ideal for larger open sites where no obstacles, such as power lines and trees, get in the way during unpacking.
They are dearer to hire than line pumps, however, they offer a huge advantage in that they offer faster concrete delivery than line pumps and are ideal where larger volumes of concrete are required on building and construction sites such as house or unit slabs, many of which may need between 100 and 500 cubic metres of concrete to be pumped in a day.

Trusted Concrete Boom Pump Hire Melbourne, Victoria
There is a number of safety concerns about using Boom pumps. For example, boom pumps CAN NOT OPERATE UNDER POWER LINES due to the safety of people and can extend out over unoccupied dwellings but CAN NOT OPERATE OVER PERMANENT STRUCTURES such as occupied houses or units.
The safety of people and their property is always our number one priority when setting up and using a Boom Pump.
It must be safe for the operator and everyone else on site before a Boom Pump can be set up and operated. Therefore, these pumps are more restricted than line pumps, for example, that don’t run into the same set-up issues.
